Former PSG Star Kimpembe Names Messi as Best Player in the World
Presnel Kimpembe, a former defender for Paris Saint-Germain, has declared Lionel Messi as the best football player globally, placing him ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.
In an appearance on Just Riadh’s YouTube channel, Kimpembe expressed admiration for both players but ultimately sided with Messi. He remarked, “Team Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi! I like both, but I would say Team Messi. He’s too strong. I also like Ronaldo a lot because you know he is a hard worker.”
Kimpembe also reflected on the excitement surrounding Messi’s arrival at PSG, stating, “When Messi arrives at PSG, you’re just so happy. You tell yourself, ‘The best player in the world is on my team.’”
During their time together at PSG, Kimpembe and Messi both contributed to the team’s success in winning the French Ligue 1 title.
