How my mother died on my father’s birthday – Davido – Daily Post Nigeria

Common singer, David Adeleke AKA Davido has opened up on what led to the demise of his mom.

Davido in a viral interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Wednesday mentioned his mom who was from Benin Metropolis died of cardiac arrest on his father’s birthday.

He mentioned he was 10-year-old when the unhappy incident occurred and her demise affected him years later.

“I used to be about 10 to 11 years previous when she died. She died on my father’s birthday. Truthfully, it was simply cardiac arrest. Even when it was going to occur, I’d not have identified as a result of I used to be about 10 or 11 years previous.

“She was probably not sick. She used to get sick from time to time however it was nothing severe.

He additional mentioned that he sees his mom in his fiancée, Chioma, including that If she have been alive he would have purchased her so many diamonds and homes.
