After winning their group, Brazil ruthlessly dismantled South Korea (opens in new tab) in their round of 16 clash to set up a meeting with Croatia.
The game was over before half time as the pre-tournament favourites ran riot – Vinicius Jr, Neymar, Richarlison and Lucas Paqueta all making it onto the scoresheet in a convincing victory.
A much tougher test awaits against Zlatko Dalic’s side, who reached the final four years ago in Russia and have conceded just twice in this tournament.
They had to rely on penalties to make it past Japan (opens in new tab) as Takumi Minamino, Kaoru Mitoma and Maya Yoshida all failed to score from the spot.
Kick-off is at 3pm GMT. Make sure you know how to watch World Cup 2022 wherever you are.
Team news

With Alex Sandro still struggling, Danilo is likely to retain his place at left-back, with Eder Militao filling in on the right.
Croatia have no new concerns and will hope that Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa recovers from illness in time to start on the left side of defence ahead of Borna Barisic.
Form
After resting players in their final group game, Brazil thrashed South Korea in the second round with their strongest team. In contrast, Croatia pegged back Japan through Ivan Perisic’s bullet header to progress on penalties.

Players to watch / key battles
Croatia will have to be at their best to keep out Brazil’s array of nimble attackers, led by Neymar, Vinicius Jr and Richarlison. Goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic and in-demand centre-back Josko Gvardiol have impressed so far and will have to do so again to upset the odds.

VPN guide
If you’re out of the country for the World Cup 2022, then you won’t be able to watch on your domestic streaming service as usual. The broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!) and blocks you from watching it. You can use a VPN to get around that, though, without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.
A Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs, creates a private connection between your device and t’internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and will let you watch. And all the info going between is entirely encrypted, anonymous and safe – and that’s a result.
