If I have sinned you, forgive me – Tinubu to Nigerians

President Tinubu Urges Unity and Compassion as Ramadan Begins

ABUJA — President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday called for unity and moral renewal among Nigerians as Muslims around the country begin the observance of Ramadan. He highlighted the importance of forgiveness and compassion, which are central tenets of the holy month.

During a Ramadan Tafsir event at the State House Mosque, Tinubu emphasized that Ramadan serves as a time for spiritual reflection and a recommitment to values that bolster society.

“This Ramadan presents an opportunity to draw closer to God, to perform good deeds, to share love and faith, and to forgive one another,” Tinubu stated.

He urged Nigerians to embrace forgiveness and to work together towards national harmony. “If I have sinned against you, forgive me. We must learn to forgive and live peacefully together,” he added.

The President further remarked that the observance of Ramadan should encourage citizens to foster unity and engage in acts of kindness that contribute to the nation’s development.
