Nollywood Actor Wale Akorede Responds to Debt Allegations
Veteran Nollywood actor Wale Akorede, popularly known as Okunnu, has publicly addressed accusations of ingratitude made by Olasco Films.
According to reports from DAILY POST, Okunnu previously accused Olasco Films, a prominent marketer in the Nollywood industry, of failing to settle a 16-year-old debt. He alleged that he produced and directed a film for Olasco without receiving compensation from the profits.

In a recent interview with Tunde Ola-Yusuf, a representative from Olasco Films described Okunnu as an ingrate and claimed he had provided him with N2 million to produce the film.
In response to these remarks, Okunnu took to Instagram, declaring an end to his prolonged silence regarding the matter. He warned, “I’m still coming for you in a BIG way. My silence for 16 years is coming soon.”
The ongoing dispute between Okunnu and Olasco Films highlights tensions within the Nollywood film industry, particularly regarding financial agreements and production compensation.
