Iran Open to Nuclear Deal with U.S.
Tehran—In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera Arabic, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi indicated that Iran is prepared to negotiate a deal with the United States that would permit peaceful nuclear enrichment. This statement follows recent discussions held in Oman.
Araghchi emphasized Iran’s stance against external limitations on its missile development. He firmly rejected the idea that the United States should dictate the capabilities and range of missiles produced by Iran.
The remarks come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to address nuclear-related tensions between the two nations.
