Iran: ‘Nigeria in trouble too’ – Hakeem Baba-Ahmed

Former Adviser Warns Nigeria Amid Ongoing Tensions in Iran

In light of escalating tensions in Iran, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, a former adviser to President Bola Tinubu on political matters, has expressed concern over Nigeria’s security situation.

During an interview on Trust TV, which was monitored by DAILY POST, Baba-Ahmed addressed the recent airstrikes carried out by the United States and Israel against Iran, which purportedly resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader along with several high-ranking political and military officials.

“The world is now aware that two days ago, the United States and Israel executed an attack on Iran, leading to significant casualties among its leadership and citizens,” Baba-Ahmed said.

He emphasized the implications of these actions, suggesting that the U.S. appears to be pursuing a regime change in Iran. “It seems the aim is to remove the current leadership and potentially allow the Iranian populace to decide their next government.”

Baba-Ahmed cautioned that such interventions often lead to unforeseen consequences. “What we are witnessing may lead to chaos and prolonged crises, both within Iran and in the surrounding regions, as well as a global uproar,” he noted.
