Joy Behar In Panic Mode As ‘The View’ Execs Want ‘Trump Republican’ To Replace Meghan McCain

Joy Behar In Panic Mode As ‘The View’ Execs Want ‘Trump Republican’ To Replace Meghan McCain

Joy Behar initially seemed to be happy earlier this month when her conservative nemesis Meghan McCain announced that she was leaving their ABC talk show “The View.”

However, Behar has since reportedly gone into full panic mode after learning that executives on the show want to find a pro-Donald Trump Republican to replace McCain.

Behar In Panic Mode

“It’s chaos behind the scenes at The View,” an ABC insider told Daily Mail. “Joy Behar is openly moaning about Meghan leaving as it’s finally hit her that sometimes it is better the devil you know. Joy has only just realized that they could be getting someone much further right on the political spectrum than Meghan who won’t put up with her crap.”

The source went on to say that if ABC executives are feeling gutsy, they’ll do a “massive shake up” and hire a famous conservative like Kimberly Guilfoyle, Megyn Kelly or even Candace Owens to “give the other women a run for their money.”

The insider added that “The View” had tried to hire Guilfoyle, who is dating Trump Jr., multiple times when she was still working at Fox News.

“[Kimberly] would be great as she would literally prosecute the other members of the panel every day of the week,” said the source. “One of our highest rated episodes ever was when she stopped by the show with Don Jr. Megyn Kelly would also do the same, however her new Sirius deal makes it hard for her to come to us.”

Tensions Mounting On ‘The View’

Tension is also mounting backstage on “The View,” as cohost Ana Navarro wants to be hired as McCain’s permanent replacement. Show runners, however, are not having any of it.

“Ana Navarro is angry because she desperately wants Meghan’s job but she’s convinced they’re not going to give her a full time seat at the table,” the source explained. “Ana doesn’t deserve the chair. She is not a Republican in the true sense of the word, all she does is slam people who voted for Trump. We need to hire a Trump Republican to reach more of the available audience at home. Ana is not the person.”

Speculation is currently mounting that cohost Sara Haines will be making her exit from the program as well.

“Everyone is convinced that Sara Haines is on the way out too. First Wendy Williams announced it on her show and then our staff found out we were in talks with Debbie Matenopoulos when they read it in the Daily Mail,” the insider said.

“Debbie would be the perfect replacement for Sara – she’s fun, engaging and says what is on her mind,” added the source. “She’s also one of the show’s OGs and it might calm Joy to have her at the table as the show enters its 25th year and returns to the studio.”

Sara Haines ‘Just Doesn’t Fit’

“Sara is such a sweet person but she just doesn’t fit and really doesn’t add anything. We often joke that she could be replaced by a loaf of white bread and the audience wouldn’t know the difference,” the source continued. “For some reason ABC has moved Sara from show to show. It’s now time to move her off The View for a second time.’

“The worst part for Sara is ABC always says, ”no it’s not true, we love you” and then they stab you in the back and you’re out,” the insider concluded. “If you don’t believe me, ask Star Jones, Jenny McCarthy, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Nicolle Wallace, Michelle Collins, etc etc etc…. the list goes on and on and on.”
