Kidnapped Imo wedding guest regains freedom

One of the three wedding guests who were kidnapped after leaving the ceremony at Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo state, on August 28, has regained his freedom.

Collins Alaefula was released on Saturday September 17, after his family members paid the complete amount the kidnappers demanded for.

The other wedding guests, Mmadu Promise and Victor Chibuike, were released earlier after their families paid ransom to the kidnappers.

A source told Punch;

 “Alaefula Collins one of the three young men kidnapped over three weeks ago has finally been released.

“The kidnappers refused to release him last week together with his two other friends because according to the family, his ransom wasn’t complete.”
