Kidnappers have released two Osun farmers, Samuel Oyedotun and Tobiloba Fashola after N6m ransom payment.

The two victims were kidnapped while returning from their farm along Ede/Ileogbo road in Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State last Wednesday January 11.

The kidnappers initially demanded N10m ransom and later agreed to collect N6 million, which was delivered to them in border community between Kogi and Kwara State.

The kidnappers held captive three relatives, including the elder brother of Samuel, after they delivered the ransom, demanding additional N24m.

A family source, who confirmed the development on Wednesday morning, said that Samuel and Tobiloba with another relative that went to deliver ransom, were released in a bush somewhere in Kogi State.

The spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed their release.
