Concerns Raised by Content Creator Following Socialite’s Apology
Content creator and social media personality VeryDarkMan has voiced concerns for his safety in light of a recent public apology from socialite King Mitchy.
Mitchy acknowledged VeryDarkMan’s activism and expressed remorse for previously confronting him. In her statement, she remarked, “To VeryDarkMan, my brother, I see what you’re fighting for. You’re advocating for Nigeria, and we can make Nigeria a better place. I’m sorry for coming at you like that. Maybe now I understand you better.” She emphasized the importance of support for VeryDarkMan in his mission.
In response, VeryDarkMan took to Instagram, suggesting that Mitchy’s apology may carry hidden intentions. “This apology from King Mitchy cannot just come from nowhere,” he commented. He referenced a previous incident involving Lege Miami, who had posted a critical video about him before subsequently removing it, alleging influence from external sources.
VeryDarkMan expressed apprehension, claiming that he has been specifically targeted. He warned that if anything were to happen to him, Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu should be held accountable. “If anything happens to me, hold Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu responsible,” he stated, labeling the apology as a potential “decoy.”
He also alleged that messages intended to intimidate him were communicated through mutual acquaintances during the dispute. “Mitchy was sending messages to people who know me, and those messages were sent to me,” he noted, expressing continued concern for his safety.
Further, VeryDarkMan cautioned against possible attempts to implicate him in criminal activities, stating, “If you hear they see drugs or anything in my car, know that they set me up.” He provided examples, asserting that any allegations of fraud or firearms linked to him would be part of a scheme to undermine him.
