LIVE: 'Beast' heavyweight stuns with brutal KO

Billy Polkinghorn got the decision in the end but Kasilieris showed some guts in the latter rounds to make it competitive.

Polkinghorn seemed to slow down at times late, knowing he probably had the bout wrapped up.

That opened up some spots for Kasilieris, who found some success on the inside and with some tight body work of his own.

Shame he could not have exhibited the same power early. Judges gave it to Polkinghorn 49-45, 49 -44, 50-43

Polkinghorn takes his pro record to 2-0. He has an impressive amateur career and packs a big punch. Could be one to watch in the future. Beautiful style.

“Rising star,” Barry Michael said.
