LIVE: Staggs given marching orders as tensions explode

Dan Ginnane described it best, “The Dragons are on fire.”

Tristan Sailor came out to take the high ball, but he’s missed it and it’s landed right in the hands of Jaydn Su’a.

He runs it forward and despite a herd of Broncos circling around him, he’s planted the ball down on the line.

Kevin Walters won’t be happy with this.

“He gets it done on the line. Good play from Jaydn Su’a,” Greg Alexander said on Fox League.

“Sailor had to come forward for that ball but he was the only one playing at it.

“The Dragons have clearly been the best side.”

“What a first half he is having. He is coming out with a point to prove,” Corey Parker added.

“The Broncos are on the ropes at the moment.”

Su’a, who was snubbed from Billy Slater’s Maroons squad for game three, has been a dominant force on the field.

In the first 40 he has made 11 runs, 95 run metres and five tackle busts alone.

“This has got to be contender for their best half of the year. It’s been a superb half,” Ginnane said.
