I find the fragrance – a blend of lavender, bergamot, mandarin and sweet orange – a gentle companion. It’s quite a fresh and clean scent and not laden with chamomile which sometimes can smell just a bit too earthy for my liking. In fact, I’d go as far as to say I find it a little bit sparkling. I know I’ve reviewed this candle before and don’t remember feeling that way about it, so either I have changed or it has.

The Pillow Mist has the same notes – it’s quite a happy scent that keys into feelings of contentment rather than sleep per se – and while I’m not much of a pillow spray user, I do use this from time to time when I’m snuggled in front of the TV with a blanket and it’s really just the extra touch to put you in a relaxing mind set. The candle is £20 for 140g although I note that the luxury size is 450g and is £29 HERE so I think we know which is the better buy! The pillow mist is £19.50 HERE and a best seller for the brand. I think it’s a nice pair for a February birthday – we’ve got ice and sunshine at the moment but that grey sky is coming!
