M.I Abaga dumps Chocolate City, floats new record label – Daily Post Nigeria

Fashionable Nigerian rapper, M.I Abaga has introduced his exit from Chocolate Metropolis after 13 years of being underneath the file label.

The announcement of his exit is coming hours after he dropped his 10th studio mission titled “Judah EP”.

That is his first launch underneath the brand new file label “Unbelievable Music”

Chocolate Metropolis is thought to be one of many largest Nigerian city file labels in Africa which was based in 2005 by lawyer, Audu Maikori together with Paul Okeugo.

M.I formally signed to Chocolate Metropolis in 2008 and has since launched 4 solo albums, three mixtapes, a compilation album and a playlist whereas underneath the label.

M.I used to be appointed the CEO of Chocolate Metropolis on June 30, 2015, which noticed the return of his brother, Jesse Jagz.

Underneath his management, Chocolate Metropolis signed Ruby Gyang, Ckay, Yung L, Milli, Koker, DJ Lambo, Kahli Abdu & VHS Safari and Unfastened Kaynon.

Making his official announcement, M.I took to his Instagram web page, revealing his new label.

He wrote: “There’s a variety of reality in my new EP the “Judah EP

“I had a dream that CBN could be the best group the world has ever seen. It was on me and right now I announce my choice to lastly let go and transfer on to one thing new!

” Thanks in your help and love for 13 years and when you’re nonetheless with me!! Let’s go.”
