The National Hospital Abuja is asking for the public to help locate the family of an unidentified female patient.
The management in a statement on November 5, 2024, said the woman was brought into the hospital after she was found unconscious by the roadside in Mabushi on October 28.
“UNKNOWN PATIENT The woman whose picture is placed above was brought into the National Hospital Abuja, on the 28th October, 2024. The unknown patient was said to have been found unconscious by the roadside in Mabushi at about 9am and was brought to the National Hospital where she has been receiving treatment,” the statement read.
“The Management of the Hospital is hereby appealing to any member of the public whose relation has not been seen since the aforementioned date to please come to Trauma ICU NHA for identification and further necessary action.
Reacting to the development, some X users called for increased security surveillance in Mabushi, describing the area as a death trap.
Recall that popular crossdresser, Abuja Area Mama, was found dead along Katampe-Mabushi expressway.
“Mabushi? It’s either hit and run or a robbery attack. Mabushi is one of the most deadliest place in Abuja at night, especially the under bridge cos it’s always dark,” one said.
“Mabushi??? She must have been attacked by those guys under that bridge either early in the morning or late last night. A number of people have lost their lives there. I wonder why the NPF don’t have a unit stationed there.
“That Mabushi under bridge is a death trap. A friend lost his left eye there. They attacked him there around 12 pm with a knife. God,” Nkeze Nweze wrote.
