The Lagos state police command has arrested a man identified as Wahab Ibrahim, for allegedly defiling a four-year-old girl in the Ikeja area of the state.
A lady had visited the police on September 6 to report that the suspect who is 32-years-old allegedly inserted his finger into the v@gina of her four-year-old niece.
The police visited the scene and recovered the survivor’s underwear which was stained with blood. The matter was immediately transferred from the Elemoro division to the Gender Unit in Ikeja for further investigation.
The suspect was arrested and arraigned in court on October 4.
