Man commits suicide in Kwara

A yet-to-be identified middle-aged man reportedly committed suicide in Ilorin West local area in Kwara State.

The man was found hanging on a tree along Eyenkorin-Ilorin road on Friday, January 3, 2024.

An eyewitness, Alhaji Waheed, while giving an account of the incident, told journalists that they found a little piece of paper under the tree with a phone number belonging to the deceased wife and his brother from Gombe State written on it.

It was gathered that officers from Budo Nuhu Division of the State Police Command immediately visited the scene and took the body to the mortuary of the General Hospital, Ilorin.
