[unpaid/sample] This is a very welcome, beautifully bright collection from Mavala, one of which is going straight on my toes tonight. As you can see straight away, it’s all about optimism and vibrancy which is a theme I think beauty brands will be very hot on over the next few months.

I love these flower inspired fiery shades, all named for beautiful places in the world. I bought myself a pair of orange Fitflops a few weeks ago (because I’m weak, I know) which are all but sold out now, but any of these colours are a perfect accompaniment. So, above we have Mandalay, Kingston and Cartagena (I’ve always want to go) which is the most pink of the offerings.

Next up, Faro, Pondicherry and Lugano. Thinking about it, it’s weird, isn’t it that a Flower based collection isn’t actually named after any flowers? I wonder if this is a reinvented collection for post lockdown. Never mind, either way, they’re delicious and a wonderful colour smack when it’s very much needed. One thing I have always wondered is why Mavala doesn’t do a bit of reinventing of their lip collection. Gorgeous shades, dire packaging. The polishes are currently £4.98 each HERE.

Shades from left to right are: Faro, Cartagena, Pondicherry, Mandalay, Lugano and Kingston.
