NBA Suspends Eleven Players Over Mass Brawl In Detroit Pistons Vs Orlando Magic Clash

The Detroit Pistons defeated the Orlando Magic 121-101, but a huge brawl during the game resulted in the NBA suspending eleven players.

For knocking Pistons player Killian Hayes off the court on Thursday, Magic center Moritz Wagner was given a two-game suspension.

Due to his retaliatory headshot to Wagner, Hayes received a three-match suspension.

Hamidou Diallo of the Pistons and eight Magic players were each handed a one-game suspension.

For one game, each of the following players has been suspended: centers Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr., guard Cole Anthony, RJ Hampton, Gary Harris, and Kevon Harris, forward Admiral Schofield, and Franz Wagner.

When Wagner assaulted Hayes at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, the Pistons had a nine-point advantage.

Hayes punched Wagner, sending him flying toward the Piston’s bench as Diallo sprinted in and shoved Wagner from behind.

To guarantee the Magic have eight players available for their upcoming two games, the eight Magic players who received one-game suspensions for leaving the bench area will serve their suspensions in a staggered fashion.

Meanwhile, Luka Doncic contributed 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists to the Dallas Mavericks’ 129-114 victory over the Houston Rockets, their fifth straight victory, to earn his eighth triple-double of the year.

When he recorded a 60-point triple-double on Wednesday against the New York Knicks, the 23-year-old Slovenian became just the second player to accomplish the feat.
