Nigerian Army Rescues Kidnapped Residents in Enugu State
ENUGU, Nigeria — Troops from the Nigerian Army’s 82 Division Garrison, operating under Operation Eastern Sanity, successfully rescued 12 individuals kidnapped from the Ette Community in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area on March 6, 2026.
According to a statement from the Nigerian Army, the rescue operation was initiated following a distress call concerning the abduction of several residents by suspected kidnappers.
