Nigerian man called out for saying he doesn’t require a DNA test for his newborn daughter after years of advising men to conduct paternity test on their children

A Nigerian man, Ekene, who is known for advocating DNA testing has been called out for saying that he doesn’t require one for his newborn daughter. 

Ekene had on December 24, 2024, said that his daughter sucks her tongue exactly the same way he did as a kid, therefore a DNA test isn’t required. 

Reacting to the post, one Ikenna and other men reminded him that he used to emphasise on the importance of conducting a DNA test.

“Na you been dey tell all man to run DNA o. You don born your own now dey say “No DNA required.” Ikenna wrote.

Responding to the criticisms, Ekene said his stance on DNA testing doesn’t apply to him as he didn’t marry a feminist who is against DNA and promotes promiscuity. 

“When I told you guys to do a DNA, it was to the fact and disclaimer that you will marry feminists who were against DNA and promoting promiscuity. As I no come marry one, make una still do if you eventually end up with one,” he wrote.

On Thursday, December 26, Ekene posted a short video cradling his daughter and wrote: “DNA done. Baby girl is mine!”
