Nigerian Singer, Cobhams Meets Donald Trump

Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer, Cobhams Asuquo, bumped into former President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, at an event on Thursday.

The 41-year-old creative took to Instagram last night to share a photo of himself with the American Republican.

“It is a rare privilege and an honour to meet with the 45th President of the United States and proud Father of the Bride. Thank you Mr President, for your kind words,” Cobhams captioned his post.

Naija News reports that Cobhams is a multiple award-winning singer. In 2022, the record producer was appointed National Ambassador of the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).

Trump Declares 2024 Presidential Ambition

Meanwhile, just last Tuesday, Donald Trump declared his interest to return to the White House in 2024.

Naija News reports that the former US president launched his 2024 presidential bid moment after filing papers with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and establishing a new campaign committee.

Speaking to his supporters at his palatial Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida on Tuesday, the 76-year-old Republican said he is coming back to fulfil all his promises to the American people.

He said: “America’s comeback starts right now. We are a nation in decline. For millions of Americans, the past two years under Joe Biden have been a time of pain, hardship, anxiety, and despair. We have to save our country.”

The voting will be much different. Are you getting ready? This will not be my campaign. This will be our campaign altogether.”

Recall that Trump lost the 2020 elections to Democrat Joe Biden after being impeached twice by the House of Representatives.
