Nigerians Question Teni’s Sexuality After New Music Video Emerged

Nigerians are reacting to a snippet from popular Nigerian musician Teniola Apata’s music video.

Teni who is set to drop a new song on June 24th got people talking after she released a short clip on Twitter which showed ladies in bikinis surrounding her.

She wrote: “1ST SINGLE, THIS FRIDAY #NEWMUSIC

In another tweet: “GETTING READY FOR THE SUMMER, MY TAILOR NEVER SEW MY BIKINI FINISH”

The video however triggered suspicion among Twitter users as they questioned her sexuality.

Many demanded answers on the singer’s sexuality, while others fumed at the insinuations over the video.

Mrversatile: “Men like bobrisky,James brown dey act and dress like women we dey drag dem steady and this one wey be woman dey act and dress like man nobody dey call her cross dresser oooo ,,we acting like it cool.”

Young billionaire: “Shabi as a woman you suppose use men as vixen?.. abi e get wetin I no dey understand?”

Relatable fiction: “Anyone assuming she’s gay, I just want to say please allow her say it before assuming. Also, I’ve seen videos of guys with just guys making music, it’s not termed “gay”

Lastly, the women weren’t seducing Teni, they’re just sexy”
