Nigerians react as Buhari returns to Twitter after 11 months following Twitter ban

Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react to the President’s return to the platform.

President Muhammadu Buhari shared his last tweet on June 1, 2021.

Twitter was banned on June 4, 2021, after the platform deleted the President’s tweet. On January 13, 2022, the ban was lifted.

While others returned to the platform, Buhari stayed away.

However, he returned today, May 2, to wish Muslims a happy Eid-el-Fitr.

Nigerians were surprised to see him back on Twitter after 11 months and they had a lot to say.
