Akwa United Aims to Rebound After Loss to Stormers SC
Akwa United’s head coach Paul Offor is confident that his team will recover from their recent setback against Stormers SC. The Promise Keepers suffered a 3-1 defeat during a Nigeria National League match on Sunday at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena. This loss marked their first of the second half of the season.
In a statement to the club’s media, Offor emphasized the importance of maintaining motivation among the players. “We have to take the positives and will certainly work to ensure we bounce back to winning ways as quickly as possible,” he said.
He added that it is crucial for the team to put the defeat behind them and focus on their upcoming fixtures. “The task at hand is to encourage and motivate the boys to concentrate on the remaining matches and work towards achieving our objectives by the end of the season,” Offor remarked.
Akwa United is scheduled to face First Bank FC in Uyo this weekend.
