NPFL: Agagbe targets extension to unbeaten run against Rivers United

Barau FC Aims to Sustain Unbeaten Streak Against Rivers United
LAGOS, Nigeria — Barau FC head coach Eugene Agagbe expressed confidence in his team’s ability to maintain their current momentum as they prepare for their upcoming matchup against Rivers United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Following a goalless draw with Warri Wolves in Ozoro on Saturday, the Maliya Boys extended their unbeaten run to seven matches. Agagbe commended his players for their dedication and emphasized the need for continued focus as they look ahead.
“It’s not easy to go seven matches unbeaten in the NPFL,” Agagbe said in an interview with Barau FC media. “Our focus has now shifted to Rivers United because we are taking it one match at a time.”
Currently, Barau FC sits in 13th place in the league standings, with a total of 34 points.
