Evans Ogenyi to Become New Technical Adviser for Wikki Tourists
Evans Ogenyi is poised for appointment as the new technical adviser for Wikki Tourists, a club in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), according to reports from DAILY POST.
Ogenyi will succeed Abdullahi Maikaba, who resigned from the position last month. The experienced coach previously managed Kano Pillars during the current NPFL season and has also served as an assistant coach at Rivers United.
With Wikki Tourists struggling in the league, Ogenyi’s appointment is seen as a critical move to stabilize the team. The club has recorded only two victories in their last 15 matches and currently occupies 16th place in the NPFL standings, holding 32 points from 28 encounters.
