NPFL: Nominees for Manager of the Month unveiled

Four Managers Nominated for February NPFL Manager of the Month Award
LAGOS, Nigeria — Fidelis Ilechukwu of Rangers, Gbenga Ogunbote of Plateau United, Azeez Mohammed of Katsina United, and Bright Ozebagbe of Ikorodu City have been nominated for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Manager of the Month award for February.
Ilechukwu guided Rangers to two wins and two draws in four matches, helping the team maintain its position in second place on the NPFL table.
Ogunbote played a pivotal role in lifting Plateau United out of the relegation zone. Under his leadership, the team achieved three victories and suffered one defeat during the month.
Ozebagbe’s strategic approach has bolstered Ikorodu City’s aspirations for a continental ticket. The team secured two wins, one draw, and one loss in four matches, placing them third in the league with a total of 45 points.
Mohammed’s direction led Katsina United to an unbeaten February, resulting in two wins and two draws.
The award winner will be determined by a panel of Nigerian football experts and announced next week.
