NPFL summons Kun Khalifat FC media officer

Nigeria Premier Football League Summons Kun Khalifat FC Media Officer for Hearing
The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has summoned Saviola Godwin Otu, the media officer for Kun Khalifat FC, to attend a hearing in Abuja.
The league body has raised concerns regarding an alleged derogatory remark made by Otu against the NPFL. He is expected to present evidence—including documents, audio, or visual materials—to support his claims during the hearing.
The controversy stems from Otu’s criticism of the NPFL’s response to Kun Khalifat FC’s request to postpone a match against El-Kanemi Warriors. Otu has argued that Katsina United received a postponement in a similar circumstance, highlighting what he perceives as inconsistent treatment by the league.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the NPFL confirmed the hearing and reiterated that Otu must provide substantiation for his allegations regarding the differential treatment of the two clubs.
