NSCDC apprehends man vandalizing school roof

A 40-year-old man identified as Jide Fadipe has been arrested by operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps for allegedly vandalizing the roof of a public primary school.

The corps’ public relations officer for Osun State Command, Kehinde Adeleke, said the suspect was arrested after a tip-off by residents of Ilesa where the vandalized school is located.

He added; 

“The suspect thereafter moved the vandalized roof sheets to his house and was caught while trying to sell it to scrap buyers.

“His act is against Section 451 of the Criminal Code Law Cap 34, Laws of Osun State, Nigeria, and would be made to face the full wrath of the law.”
