Nasarawa Amazons Defeat FC Robo Queens 4-2

LAFIA, Nigeria — Nasarawa Amazons head coach Christopher Danjuma praised his players for their determination following a 4-2 victory over FC Robo Queens on Wednesday at Lafia City Stadium.

The Amazons concluded the first half of the season in third place in Group B, accumulating 18 points from nine matches.

“We’re pleased to have secured the three points; it is crucial at this stage,” Danjuma said. “The players demonstrated a strong resolve that was absent in our previous match in Akure, where we faced defeat.”

Looking ahead, Danjuma expressed confidence in the team’s potential for improvement in the upcoming second half of the season, which is set to begin next month.

“We are prepared for the challenges ahead and believe we can bring joy to our fans and the state,” he added.
