NWFL unveils first round best X1
Nigeria Women Football League Unveils Best XI for 2025/26 Season’s First Stanza
The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has released its Best XI for the first stanza of the 2025/26 season.
Leading the selections, Remo Stars Ladies secured three spots with players Eberechukwu Eleka, Hannafi Ibrahim, and Nkiruka Obioma making the cut. Rivers Angels contributed two players, Abasiofon Uwah and Ramatalahi Kareem, both of whom have collectively scored 12 goals this season. Notably, Uwah stands at the top of the scoring chart with seven goals at the conclusion of the first round.

Additionally, Bayelsa Queens are represented by Kindness Ifeanyi and Blessing Ilivieda. The list also includes Atume Doosur from Edo Queens, Winner David of Abia Angels, and Ayatsea Hembafan from Nasarawa Amazons.
Rivers Angels head coach Tosan Blankson was recognized as the Manager of the Round for his contributions to the team’s performance.
