One dead as bandits attack Gidan Dadi in Sokoto
One person was killed in an attack by bandits on the Gidan Dadi community in the Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
The incident occurred Thursday night, according to a post by security analyst Bakatsine on social media platform X. The attackers reportedly entered the community and moved through it freely before fleeing with a significant number of livestock.
Residents reported that the raid was swift, and the attackers left with the stolen animals. Bakatsine questioned the ongoing vulnerability of rural communities to such violence, highlighting concerns over the lack of timely security responses.
