Over 40 phones stolen as thieves burgle charging shop in Adamawa

Suspected Burglars Steal Mobile Phones from Charging Outlet in Adamawa
JADA, Adamawa State — A break-in at a phone charging outlet in the Jada Local Government Area has resulted in the theft of over 40 mobile phones.
The incident occurred at the shop of owner Muhammad Mai Caji, located along the road to Unguwar Duta’era. Sources indicate that the burglary took place while Caji was at a nearby mosque observing the Isha prayer.
The stolen devices primarily belonged to customers who had left their phones for charging services. In addition to the phones, the assailants reportedly stole cash from the shop’s point-of-sale operations.
Caji has confirmed that he reported the matter to the police and is taking steps to contact the affected customers.
In response to the rising incidents of burglary in the area, residents are urging local security agencies to enhance night patrols to improve safety in the community.
