Paris 2024: Nigeria's Tobi Amusan begins Olympic medal hunt

The world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles takes centre stage on Wednesday as she aims to add an Olympic medal to her gallery.

Tobi Amusan, Nigeria’s flagbearer and world record holder in the 100m hurdles, will kick off her campaign for an Olympic medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Wednesday, August 7th.

Tobi Amusan has been chosen as flagbearer for the Olympic Games.

The highly rated athlete is on a mission to add to Nigeria’s medal tally in her third Olympic appearance. Amusan is a strong contender for gold.

However, she will face tough competition from world-class hurdlers including Devynne Charlton, Alaysha Johnson, Danielle Williams, and Jasmine Camacho-Quinn.

Tobi Amusan will compete in the first round today, followed by the semifinals on Friday and the final on Saturday.
