Post Malone & Swae Lee’s ‘Sunflower’ becomes most certified song in US history

The single released in 2018 is one of the songs on Post Malone’s album ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ released in 2019. The single would become the soundtrack for the hit Marvel cartoon ‘Spider-man: Into the Spider Verse‘.

With its 17th platinum plaque, ‘Sunflower’ has surpassed the previous record of 16th platinum held by Lil Nas X‘s ‘Old Town Road’.

‘Sunflower’: The single is one of the biggest in the world and it has charted in multiple countries reaching number one in over 5 countries including the US.

The song has amassed over 2.4 billion streams on Spotify and over 1.9 billion streams on YouTube.

‘Sunflower’ has gone platinum in over 10 countries reaching 3 times platinum in the UK and a record-breaking 17 times platinum in the US.

It was nominated for the Record of the Year and Best Duo/Group Performance at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
