The heavily pregnant girlfriend of the inmate ‘filmed having sex with a female prison guard’  has been hospitalized.

Her man, Linton Weirich was jailed in April for burglary after stealing £65,000 worth of goods from a safe in a luxury flat in Kensington.

Among the items he stole in a raid in March 2022 were jewellery, belts, handbags, a laptop, and a suitcase.

Weirich was jailed for four and a half years for burglary dwelling and theft on June 7 at Kingston Crown Court.

The 36-year-old, from west London, was filmed on a mobile phone allegedly having sex with former prison officer Linda De Sousa Abreu.

She appeared in court on Monday, July  1,  charged with misconduct in public office.

Weirich has a partner who is seven months pregnant.

A source close to the partner, who we are not naming, told MailOnline: ‘This is the last thing she needs in her condition, it’s extremely upsetting.
‘This stupid video has affected her health, she was hospitalised at the weekend through stress. She fears it will bring on premature labour.’

Six years ago, Weirich pleaded guilty to dangerous driving on the M6 at Stafford.

He also admitted assaulting a police officer with intent to resist arrest, driving without a licence and driving without insurance when he appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in March, 2018.

Ms De Sousa Abreu, 30, who is married, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Saturday before she could catch a flight to see relatives in Madrid, a court heard yesterday.

She was attempting to travel on a Portuguese passport, which was seized by the Metropolitan Police.

Ms De Sousa Abreu appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates Court on Monday charged with misconduct in public office by ‘engaging in a sexual act with a Prisoner in a prison cell.’

She spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address.

Prosecuting Niamh McDonagh told the court: ‘Ms De Sousa Abreu was apprehended at Heathrow Airport where a flight had been booked for Madrid. I believe she has relatives living there.

‘A Portuguese passport was seized by police when she was apprehended. She is a Portuguese national with a Portuguese passport. ‘

Defending, Gayathri Yogarajah said Ms De Sousa Abreu had notified HMP Wandsworth telling them of her travel plans which was duly passed on to Scotland Yard.

She was granted conditional bail and will appear for a plea and case management hearing on July 29 at Isleworth Crown Court.

She must remain at the southwest London address given in court. Her Portuguese passport must remain with the police and she cannot make any attempt to retrieve it.

She is forbidden from applying or being in possession of international travel documents and she must hand over her Portuguese Identity card so that she can travel on.

Ms Da Sousa Abreu is also forbidden to enter any UK port and must be electronically monitored between the hours of 9pm and 7am.
