Real Housewives Of Atlanta Star Nene Leakes Is Being Sued For Ruining Her Boyfriend’s Marriage

The Bravo alum is currently dating Nyonisela Sioh, with the couple going public with their romance at the end of last year.

However, the 54-year-old has been hit with a lawsuit from Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh, who has claimed that they started dating while he was still married to her.

According to reports, she is seeking $100,000 in damages after alleging that NeNe caused her emotional distress, mental anguish, and a loss of affection – which led to the end of their marriage.

TMZ reports that the reality favorite posted multiple pictures with Nyonisela on social media, which caused her to be humiliated.

The case was filed in North Carolina, which is one of only a handful of states where a person is able to sue someone else over their partner’s ‘alienation of affection’.

Most states have disallowed similar lawsuits, with Hawaii, North Carolina, Mississippi, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Utah currently the only areas paperwork can be filed.

The alienation of affection law allows a person to sue for ‘wrongful acts that deprived them of the love and affection of their spouse’ – and is usually directed towards a spouse’s extramarital partner.

NeNe has yet to address the claims publicly.

The former Apprentice US star started dating Nyonisela in December, 2021, shortly after the death of her husband, Gregg Leakes – who died in November following a battle with colon cancer.

She went public with her new romance weeks after her loss, and shared photos as they celebrated her birthday together on Instagram.

They reportedly met through ex RHOA star Peter Thomas, and have been inseparable ever since.

‘It’s still very new but she’s almost like a teenager with him, just light and giggly and feeling those new relationship butterflies,’ an insider said at the time.
