Former National Assembly lawmaker, Shehu Sani has reacted to the postponement of the Abuja-Kaduna train service scheduled to commence on November 28 by the Federal government.

Naija News reports that the Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Sambo, had announced the postponement of the resumption date while inspecting the state of readiness to operate along the axis.

The decision comes after the minister and other stakeholders journeyed to the Rigasa station for an inspection ahead of the previously scheduled date.

Sambo said the team has made certain observations and decided to suspend immediate operations in order to compromise standards at the expense of Nigerian security.
