Security operatives reportedly stage show of force in Kano state ahead of scheduled protest

Security operatives have reportedly staged a significant show of force in Kano State in anticipation of the scheduled protest against hardship in the country. 

Witnesses reported a heavy presence of armed police and military personnel patrolling key areas of the city.
