LAGOS, Nigeria — Popular Nigerian influencer and critic, Verydarkman, has publicly accused Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, of threatening his life. The allegation was made in a video that quickly gained attention on Instagram Friday afternoon.

This development emerges amid an ongoing dispute between Verydarkman and fellow content creator King Mitchy. According to reports from DAILY POST, King Mitchy recently completed renovations on a public school, with financial backing from Seyi Tinubu. The two have been engaged in a back-and-forth regarding King Mitchy’s transparency over public donations dating back to 2025.

In response to the situation, Verydarkman claimed that Seyi Tinubu is financially supporting King Mitchy’s charitable endeavors. In a subsequent video posted on his Instagram account, Verydarkman urged the public to hold both Tinubu and Mitchy accountable should any harm come to him.

Verydarkman stated, “Nigerians, with respect to what’s going on now, they are beginning to threaten my life. Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy are threatening my life.” He read aloud a message from King Mitchy, which indicated that she was alarmed by the situation and had been in contact with Seyi Tinubu.

He continued, expressing concern about his safety, saying, “Seyi Tinubu is so influential and powerful that he can command the Inspector General of Police and the Director General of the Department of State Services. I just want to put it out there that if anything happens to me, it’s King Mitchy and Seyi.”

Verydarkman concluded his message with a stark warning, “A threat to my life has been issued. If anything should happen to me and my close ones, hold @seyitinubu and King Mitchy responsible. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. I DON’T FEEL SAFE.”
