Human rights activist and presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Omoyele Sowore, this morning accompanied serving corp member, Ushie Rita Uguamaye, also known as Raye, to the NYSC Local Government Inspector’s office alongside a team of attorneys over the viral video she made criticizing the Bola Tinubu-led government.

Raye in a video shared online, lamented about the high cost of living and tackled President Tinubu for failing to provide succor to Nigerians. Later on, she released another video stating that some NYSC officials called to threaten her and also take down the video. Her cry out elicited Nigerians from Nigerians who knocked the NYSC official for trying to silence Raye.

Posting videos and photos on his X handle, Sowore noted that he and his attorneys were at the local government to accompany Raye but that the officials who were to interrogate her, ‘’absconded.”
