Spain v Portugal live stream, Thursday 2 June, 7.45pm BST
Looking for a Spain v Portugal live stream? We’ve got you covered with our handy guide.
An old rivalry will resume when Spain host Portugal in the opening game of their UEFA Nations League campaign on Thursday night.
Spain made it all the way to the Nations League final last year before succumbing to France, while Portugal were winners of the inaugural competition in 2019.
Both sides will be looking at this clash as important big-game preparation, with the World Cup now little more than six months away.
They haven’t been easy to split in recent years, with all of the last four meetings ending level after 90 minutes.
The last game meeting that saw a winner in regulation time was when Portugal smashed their neighbours 4-0 in November 2010.
And it will be hard to call this game too, as Spain are on a four-match winning run and Portugal recently beat Turkey and North Macedonia to reach Qatar 2022 through the play-offs.
Switzerland and Czech Republic line up to complete Group A2, and all four sides face four games in the space of 10 days during a hectic June international window.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm BST on Thursday 2 June, and the game is being broadcast live by Premier Sports 2. See below for international broadcast options..
VPN guide
If you’re out of the country for a round of Premier League fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You’ll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you’ve paid up for a subscription and still want to catch the action without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.
But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t’internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won’t automatically block the service you’ve paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that’s a result.
