Spiff Quits His Role As An Actor In The Johnsons TV Series

Nollywood actor, Samuel Ajibola popularly known as Spiff has announced he would no longer be a part of the cast for ‘The Johnsons’ TV series.

The Johnsons is a popular Nigerian family serial sitcom in which the actor plays the role of Spiff who is one of the major characters in the movies.

The actor however announced in a Twitter statement on Tuesday that he would no longer be a part of the movie series.

Though he didn’t give explicit reasons for his decision to quit, Spiff noted that it was not an easy decision for him to quit his role in the TV series.

He thanked his fans and supporters for their support over the years.

He wrote on Twitter: “It’s difficult to let go but it’s time to officially announce on this platform as I quit my role as Spiff in The Johnsons.”

“Thanks to everyone for your undying support and love, I couldn’t have asked for more.”

I’ve got time on my hands and not much on my side, I’ve to move on.”

Meanwhile, the first daughter of the late Afrobeat originator, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Yeni Kuti, who celebrated her birthday recently, has taken to social media to reveal why her brother, Seun Kuti, walked out of her birthday celebration in the presence of the Lagos State Governor.

Naija News understands that the TV host and fashionista celebrated her 60th birthday on May 24th, which was graced by some dignitaries, including the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

In a tweet, Yeni Kuti, dismissing the viral report that her brother, Seun Kuti, had walked out on the Governor of Lagos state, Yeni explained that the security detail to the governor had pushed Seun Kuti’s wife, which got him very upset, hence the reason he stumbled off her birthday celebration.

She also added that, Seun Kuti walking out had absolutely nothing to do with the governor.
