Don’t be surprised if you see a bit of a brouhaha unfold during this contest.
Gold Coast captain Tino Fa’asuamaleaui has a target on his back after his antics in Origin III, where he held Matt Burton as the latter was punched by Dane Gagai.
That sight left a sour taste in the mouths of many, not least of all Bulldogs firebrand Tevita Pangai Jr.
Pangai Jr loves a scrap, and he won’t shy away from one if he gets the chance against Fa’asuamaleaui this afternoon.
“I wasn’t happy about what I saw. I love Burto and I don’t like seeing that stuff happen to him,” Pangai Jr said last week.
“The rules should be 10 minutes in the bin with no suspension if guys want to throw punches in club land.
“Our game isn’t for everyone. We can’t please everyone. Make it 10 in the bin and then get on with it. You see people mouth off these days and the jersey grabbing, but there are no consequences for them.”
