Suspected terror!st arrested along US northern border

A suspected terror!st was arrested while trying to illegally cross the northern border in the US.

Mohammad Hasan Abdellatif Albana, 41, was booted from the US on Nov. 15 after Border Patrol agents caught him near the northern border in Lynden, Washington, where he was caught sneaking into the country, Immigration and Customs Enforcement said in a statement.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Seattle Field Office Director Drew H. Bostock said the agency is “committed to the removal of noncitizens who pose a risk to the national security of the U.S.”

“Our officers perform these removals dutifully as a part of a federal law enforcement effort to protect Pacific Northwest Communities,” said Bostock.

During the Biden administration, the number of terror-tied migrants caught by federal border authorities reached record levels.

Border Patrol agents caught 300 migrants whose names appear on the terror watchlist crossing both the southern and northern borders illegally during that time period, according to federal data.

Back in August, Border agents arrested Palestinian Omar Shehada, 35, whose name was listed on the terror watchlist for using “explosives/arms” for an unnamed terror group, at the New Mexico border.
