Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared his testimony on welcoming a set of twins with his wife, Chioma Rowland.
Recall that a video of Davido and his wife, Chioma, leaving a hospital in Atlanta, United States of America, with their newborn twins went viral on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Speaking at an event about the experience of losing a child, the singer said a lot of people would have stopped believing in God if such a thing had happened to them.
Davido noted that he kept his faith and stayed focused because of how supportive his team were to him.
The award-winning singer added that when he and his wife found out that they were having twins, they were shaken about it.
He said, “A lot of people this happened to, they’d never believe in God never in their life. But still, I have faith that is a story I want people to see. When me and my wife found out were shaking, and it was in the same month. My son passed in October 2022, and my twin came in October.”
Recall that the couple had lost their first son, Ifeanyi, on October 31, 2023.

Singer, Davido has spoken for the first time after he and his wife, Chioma, welcomed their set of twins.
In a recent interview, Davido said he and Chioma were shaking when they discovered they were expecting twins.
He said they welcomed their babies in the same month they lost their son, Ifeanyi.
‘’A lot of people that those things happen to, they will never want to believe in God in their life. But to still have faith and do what I love, having a great theme around me and just focusing. Now we are almost at a finished line. It’s a story I want people to see and watch”
Speaking further on welcoming his twins, he said;
‘’When me and my found out, we were shaking…and it was in the same month. My son passed last year October, my wife gave birth this year October. It’s crazy”

To make matters worse, Davido in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) noted that the pictures showing him on a hospital bed with his wife are old pictures.
He further urged colleagues and friends to stop circulating old photos.
“Stop circulating old pictures, thank you,” the 31-year-old wrote.
Afrobeat producer and singer, Samklef, however, on Friday, shared a video on X showing Davido with Chioma and the twins.
Samklef in the post wrote, “Oya it’s official congratulations to @davido x @thecheffchi double blessings. One boy one girl noni!”

He further urged colleagues and friends to stop circulating old photos.
