The Minnesota Timberwolves are having a rough day. First, Rudy Gobert took a swing at his teammate during a timeout. That was bad enough. Now, Jaden McDaniels fractured his hand after punching a wall during the team’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Here’s video:

Not the smartest move I’ve ever seen an NBA player pull.

Shortly thereafter, ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski announced McDaniels, indeed, had fractured his hand:

Now the Timberwolves will enter the 2023 play-in tournament without the 22-year-old forward. McDaniels isn’t a bench guy, either. He’s started all 78 games he’s played in this season and is averaging 12.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 30.9 minutes per game. He’s a huge piece of what the T-Wolves do.

Now he almost certainly won’t be available for the playoffs.

Former lover of award-winning singer Davido, Sira Kente has fractured her spine after she was  involved in a terrible accident that she is still recovering from.

Naija News reports that Sira Kante, a high profile model and fashion designer from the Republic of Guinea who was in a relationship with Davido until he met Chioma Rowland, shared photos from her recuperations.

According to the model, she survived a terrible car accident on her way back from Abidjan which left her spine fractured and two of her ribs broken.

She, however,  beckoned to her followers for prayers for quick recovery.

Sharing photos from her recuperation, Sira wrote “I’m still in Ivory Coast but my trip got cut shorter than expected. I’m Grateful to God that I survived a terrible car accident on my way back to Abidjan coming from a rain storm in Assinie.

“Unfortunately, my spine is fractured & I have 2 broken ribs with a few minor cuts and bruises all over my body. I had to be rushed into surgery to fix my spine so I could be able to walk again. Day 4 in the hospital, super thankful to the entire staff for making me feel like family. Taking these few steps made my cry tears of joy.

“I’m only sharing this because I want everyone that supports me to know that life is the most precious thing we have. At any given moment, it could be taken away. Thank you to everyone who’s been reaching out to check up on me. If you love and support me, all I ask from you is your prayer for a speedy recovery. I’ll be off social media for a while to focus on recovering. Stay safe.”
