Music blogger, Ayo Jaguda has stated that Naira Marley cannot say he isn’t complicit in the trauma his former signee, Mohbad suffered before his sudden demise on Tuesday, September 13.

Ayo shared a video of Mohbad and rapper, Zlatan, on a music set sometime in July this year, where a group of men, one of them now identified as SamLarry, stormed the set and attempted to assault Mohbad.

Zlatan immediately stood up and prevented the men from assaulting Mohbad.

He shared his experience with Tayemesan on the latest episode of his podcast, ‘Tea with Tay’, claiming the lecturer thought he was a girl.

He said, “I’ve never said this anywhere. I got harassed in a lecturer’s office. The lecturer thought I was a girl, yes. And it was one of those courses that you know, one of those general courses. I will not say the course name.”

Further detailing the experience, he said, “They asked us to submit my assignment and said me I should submit my own tomorrow. Me I no said, ‘Ah! Thank God o! They even gave me time.’ Because as an educationist, if you’re studying English Education, you’ll do both…. you’ll go to Arts, Education. And it’s always stressful. And we might have class 8-10am in Education and 10-11am in Arts. So, you’re scrambling for the campus shuttle or you have to walk or run. And I mean, I didn’t have a car at the time.

“So, one of those times, I wrote a paper and anytime I wanted to submit, the lecturer would say, ‘Don’t worry, come back.’ So I was like this lecturer is nice o! So, one day I went and I was like, ‘Sir, I want to see you.’ And he said, ‘Oh, fine girl; come in.’ So I was stuck. I now said, ‘Hey, if I now say I’m not fine girl, this course I’ve failed it’. So when I entered, I was like ‘Well done sir’ and he said, ‘Drop it’ teasingly.

“And you know, he started coming closer. Then I realised I was done for. He was already coming on, not too strong but I could feel the energy because we already heard the gist about this particular lecturer. So, I said, ‘I have entered this one today’. I couldn’t tell anyone obviously or could I tell him upfront that I was a bros and that he should step back. Of course that would have meant me failing that course instantly.

“And at some point, he said the funniest thing ever, I can never forget that line. He said, ‘Sit on my lap’. I told him I was okay where I was and then he just stood in front of me and said, ‘Oya, come and make it go down.’ I was like, ‘Sir, ki ni yen? (What is that?)’. So you know, I was scared, I was really frantic. I was perplexed, everything. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. So I was just doing, ‘Sir, I’ll come back.’

“Then he spoke Yoruba and said I should go. That children who behaved like me were the most spoilt. When I came out, everybody that greeted me, I didn’t even answer. I was just walking down that Arts corridor till I got to the car park.”

According to the controversial media figure, this was the first time he was sharing the experience with anyone.

Teenager discovers that the anonymous troll who harassed her online for a year is actually her mum

A teenage girl who suffered online bullying for a whole year discovered that the anonymous troll behind the hateful messages was her own mother.

Kendra Gail Licari, from Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, USA, was charged earlier this week following a year-long investigation in which FBI experts were called in to help track down the culprit.

Although Licari had used a VPN in a bid to disguise where the messages were coming from and used slangs that made it seem as if her posts had been written by a teenager, detectives were eventually able to tie the messages to Licari.

After the victim went to her mother for help, Licari allegedly reported the bullying to authorities.

Licari had even gone as far as teaming up with the mother of her daughter’s then-boyfriend to “help” find the cyberbully who had been sending up to a dozen messages a day.

At first, school authorities were unable to help and local law enforcement didn’t have the resources to track down the culprit.

Isabella County prosecutor David Barberi told local radio station WKRC: “When the case first came into our office, it was bizarre and almost hard to believe.”

He added that it was a sustained campaign of abuse.

“We’re talking about several hundreds of text messages, over 1,000 pages of discovery in the case,” he said.

Barberi said that the messages were “mostly just harassing-type text messages, demeaning, demoralising, and just mean texts”.

But after computer experts from the FBI positively identified the messages as having come from Licari’s phone, she broke down under questioning and admitted the campaign of bullying against the boy and her daughter.

Beal City school superintendent William Chilman said that Licari had been a basketball coach at her daughter’s school at the time of the offences.

Licari was arraigned on Monday, December 12, and has been released on a $5,000 bond.

Using a computer to commit a crime is a felony in the US, carrying a potential 10-year jail sentence. Licari has also been charged with stalking a minor and obstruction of justice – both of which could carry a further five years behind bars.

Licari is scheduled to appear in court on December 29, when prosecutors will determine whether sufficient evidence exists to take the case to trial.
